Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Quran Loop (“Quran Loop”, “we”, “us”), a free, browser-based tool for learning and memorizing the Qur’an through repeated listening. By using Quran Loop, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
The service
Quran Loop lets you select verses, choose a reciter, and loop the recitation while following the Arabic text and translation. It is provided free of charge, with no ads and no paid tier. You can start as a guest; a free account unlocks saving loops, tracking weak verses, building playlists, and syncing across devices. Quran Loop requires an internet connection to stream recitation and load content.
Your account
If you create an account (via Google or email), you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
Quran Loop is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems;
- copy, scrape, or redistribute the service or its content except as normally permitted for personal use;
- reverse-engineer or interfere with the service except where such restriction is prohibited by law;
- use the service to break any applicable law.
Content and intellectual property
The Qur’an is the word of Allah. The Arabic text, English translation, and reciter recordings are provided through Quran.com and the Quranic Universal Library and remain the property of their respective owners and rights holders. The Quran Loop name, design, and software are ours. Your own data — such as your loops, weak verses, and playlists — remains yours; you grant us only the permission needed to store and display it back to you as part of the service.
Third-party services and content
Quran Loop relies on third-party services, including Google Firebase, Quran.com, and the Quranic Universal Library. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
A supplement, not a replacement
Quran Loop is intended to support your practice, not to replace study with a qualified teacher or time with your Mushaf. While the text and recitations are sourced from Quran.com, we do not warrant that all content is free of error. Always return to a qualified teacher and a trusted Mushaf for study and verification.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quran Loop is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quran Loop and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the service.
Termination
You may stop using Quran Loop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province or territory in which the operator of Quran Loop is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
